Since the beginning of the 1900s, my family has been producing Nocellara del Belice oil, a symbol of tradition and respect for nature. The Belice, a Sicilian river that originates near Palermo and empties at Selinunte, has historically favored agriculture in the areas of Partanna and Selinunte, where our company is located, deeply rooted in the territory.
My great-grandfather left Sicily for New York in the 19th century and then returned to Italy, buying land now cultivated with olive trees and vineyards.
After twelve years in London where I worked as a chef, I returned to Sicily in 2018. I decided to come back to devote myself to the family business, bringing with me a passion for cooking and the values of tradition: simple foods, without preservatives, grown naturally, as I remember from my grandfather′s stories.
I wish to convey these authentic flavors, enhancing the quality and authenticity of the products of the Belice Valley, to preserve and share the richness of our land.
